The Cubs had a great first half! Although the win/loss record seems to say they struggled, this is what it looked like. The Cubs had a tough schedule playing the top two teams twice in the first half. The Cubs took both of these teams to extra innings before being beat, two games were lost by one run, and two games were lost by two runs. The Cubs outfielders had some great catches to stop their opponents and the Cubs bats were coming around, including one player in the homerun club! The Cubs are looking forward to the second half! The Cubs also congratulate the Reds on their first half victory. By Team Information Officer. |
